The Computer access project started on the 1st April 
1999 and will run for 2 years.  This aims to support disabled people  in the computer use. The part time worker is Joanna Greenwell who can be contacted from Mon-Thurs via the main HAFAD number or on a direct line 0171-610-6078. autora.gif (15430 bytes)
    If you have a computer related question please contact me if you are interested in any of the following:
 
1) Advice on computer hardware and software and information about specialist equipment and assessments.

2)   computer training locally and you need information and support. We produce a Bi Monthly Publication Bulletin HAFAD Bulletin is packed with the latest news from Hafad Local News, changes in legislation.

3) Specialist equipment loan for a training course.   I may be able to loan it to you for the duration of the course.

4) Trying out specialist equipment such as speech imput where you can dictate text to the computer or speech output where the screen is read out loud to you. We also have software for dyslexics and those with literacy difficulties

5) Training for visually impaired people using computers and accessing the internet.
6) Trying out software or the internet.
